Downhill Stretch LLC — SMS Verbal Consent Procedure

Purpose

Downhill Stretch LLC uses SMS to send automated internal business reminders and operational notifications to its owners. Messages may include reminders regarding scheduled appointments, business events, tasks, deadlines, and other business-related items.

How Verbal Consent Is Obtained

Before SMS reminders are enabled for a recipient, Downhill Stretch LLC obtains the recipient's explicit verbal consent using the following procedure.

Downhill Stretch LLC representative asks:

“Do you agree to receive automated internal business reminders and operational notifications from Downhill Stretch LLC at this phone number? Messages may include reminders about scheduled appointments, business events, tasks, deadlines, and other business-related items. Message frequency varies based on scheduled reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Our SMS Terms and Conditions and SMS Privacy Policy are available on our website. Please answer yes or no to indicate whether you consent to receive these messages.”

The recipient must affirmatively answer “Yes” before SMS messaging is enabled for that phone number.

Enrollment Confirmation

After affirmative consent is received, the recipient is informed:

“Thank you. You are enrolled to receive Downhill Stretch LLC SMS reminders and operational notifications. Message frequency varies based on scheduled reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”

Consent is recorded internally before the recipient's phone number is enabled for automated SMS reminders.

Opt-Out and Help

Recipients may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP. Recipients may reply HELP for assistance.

Downhill Stretch LLC honors opt-out requests and does not send automated reminder messages to a recipient after consent has been withdrawn.

Program Scope

This is a private internal messaging program. SMS reminders are sent only to specifically authorized recipients who have provided explicit consent. Downhill Stretch LLC does not use purchased contact lists or send these messages to customers, marketing lists, or the general public.
